Lynette Casey-Brereton is one of Australia's top classical voice teachers. She currently trains vocal students at the Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne and VCAS (the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School). As a specialist teacher, she welcomes students who wish to focus on classical voice studies. Lynette's career as a soprano soloist has been extensive: she has appeared on ABC radio; worked as a session musician in film scores; and countless recital performances. She is currently the Chair of the Victorian specialist Advisory Panel for Singing. In the past, she has been: the Director of the Melba Conservatorium (from 1987-1998); an AMEB national advisor on singing; and a federal practical examiner for the AMEB (from 2000-2001).
