About

Update: In response to COVID-19, all Keys to Wellbeing lessons will be conducted online.

Natasha Lin is the founder behind the innovative piano studio, Keys to Wellbeing. A response to the demands of today’s world, Keys to Wellbeing is a space for all pianists interested to further their art of pianistic techniques with a focus on holistic wellbeing.

With more than 30 years of combined experience as a concert pianist, teacher and music therapist, Natasha’s piano lessons are a fusion of all her insights gained from a broad range of holistic music practices.

Her unique and different approach in piano pedagogy drawn from this background makes her a highly sought-after teacher. Her ability to inspire and motivate students from different music backgrounds and age range, as well as balancing the development of a high technical pianistic standard, has seen them all achieve a broad range of goals.

Her students have sought her for:

  • Beginning piano learning
  • Developing high technical standard
  • Graded exams
  • Preparation for entrance auditions
  • Mentoring for piano teaching
  • Addressing musician performance anxiety and burnout
  • Re-discovering passion for piano playing

Natasha’s students have been awarded scholarships to various prestigious music schools and conservatoriums, most notably the Victorian College of Arts and the Julliard School of Music, New York. Her students have also achieved high results possible in the Australian Music Examination Board, the Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and competition prizes both locally and interstate.

Her students have also approached Natasha to address musician performance anxiety, general anxiety and other challenges related to piano playing. She is also known for enriching and renewing passion for students with prior negative piano lesson experiences. Regardless of the challenge, Natasha is able to address with sensitivity and practicality, and her students have gained invaluable insights into addressing their challenges through the art of piano playing.

Natasha is also an active concert pianist, under the artist name Aksuna. In April 2019 she released her debut album of original piano works, Love Child, available on all major music platforms.
