Noriko Arisawa was trained from the age of 4 to perform and later to teach. In 1985, she graduated from a Conservatory in Tokyo with a Bachelor of Music and has completed AMEB Theory Gr.7 (Distinction).
She came to Australia in 1987 and has continued to pursue her love of music and piano. Noriko's object is to educate, encouraging her students to increase both their proficiency and knowledge within their capabilities. She feels that with teaching ideology founded in patience and creativity, her students' appreciation and enjoyment of music can flourish.
Noriko specializes in piano transition from keyboard, theory and practical preparation for AMEB exams for all the grades, A.Mus.A. and Licentiate.
Noriko does not believe in age limits; it is never too late to start. Her oldest student is 62! Under 10s may require assessment, however.
