I have been playing drums for over 15 years now, and for 6 of those years I have been touring for the London based band ‘Yossarian’. I have played over 200 live concerts as well as recorded 3 albums. I have also been teaching on and off for the past 5 years, and have taught over 30 students: all with different ages and levels. I have been using Zoom to teach lessons for over a year now so I can teach both online and in person.

I am a very patient teacher, but am also able to figure out the confines within which you’re able to be pushed to increase your playing ability at a healthy rate. I like to start off by focusing on your technique as this is the foundation which – if perfected early on – will strengthen the rest of your playing. After this I will teach you rudiments which will start to make you think about different ways to create fills, whilst also increasing your speed, flexibility and balance around the kit. These are important lessons to have, whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been playing for years. After this I will work with my students to figure out what their reasons for playing are and help them to achieve their individual goals.
