About

I offer high quality teaching and coaching to cellists of intermediate level and above.

My skills and experiences are international, ranging from Europe, Asia and Australia I have more than 30 years of history in performance and teaching.

My students regularly receive top grades in AMEB exams, has consistent performance opportunities both public and internal, and has many opportunities to meet industry professionals from around the world. These are just a few notables that describe my class.

My teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and focused. Lessons are aimed at developing technique, learning to structure musical interpretation, and critical awareness and problem solving.

Cello is one of the most important aspects of my life, and I hope to share this with any student that might feel similarly.

– Please record and upload a 4+ minute video of the student’s performance on the cello (YouTube unlisted is fine), and send me an email with the link. In the email please include the student’s experiences on the cello.
