I’m a saxophone teacher based in Elanora Heights in the Northern Beaches, with decades of experience helping students of all ages find their voice on the instrument. My own background is in jazz, so improvisation is close to my heart, but I’m just as happy working through contemporary and classical repertoire, preparing students for AMEB exams, or getting stuck into the music they need for school and band.
I teach from my home studio and online, and I like to follow the interests of each student — the best progress happens when you’re playing music you genuinely enjoy. Alongside my private teaching, I work as a high school music teacher, where my students routinely achieve Band 6 results and Encore nominations. I also provide tuition for students undertaking in HSC Music 1 and Music 2 courses.
