Pauline is an excellent piano teacher, especially for younger children. She communicates very effectively and is extremely patient – she has a great rapport with the kids she tutors
I have recently started music lessons after a break of 15 years and feel very lucky to have had Pauline recommended to me. Pauline’s passion and knowledge of music shines and I look forward to my lesson each week. She is a very kind and patient teacher and I leave her lessons feeling encouraged and inspired. I can’t wait to see where this musical journey takes me.
You have revitalised not only my desire to learn, but a belief in myself and my capabilities, which I’m exceptionally grateful for.

Pauline is an amazing piano teacher. She knows how to playfully keep our 8 year-old son motivated and engaged, and really takes her cues from where his interests lie to keep him focused. Pauline is kind and encouraging, and her years of teaching are evident in her music knowledge and guidance. We highly recommend Pauline.
I am an experienced piano teacher, fully qualified Secondary teacher, former classroom Music teacher and R-12 Music Manager. I have Full Registration of the Music Teachers Association S.A. (M.T.A.S.A.) and I hold a current Working With Children Check.
My piano studies were at Elder Conservatorium of Music (University of Adelaide) and my academic studies were also at the University of Adelaide.
I believe in individualising each student’s piano lessons to cater for their interests, strengths and abilities.
I facilitate an exploration and enjoyment of music in a student-friendly setting. Creativity and composition/improvisation are encouraged. This may include exploring music and drama skills for younger students.
All students have music theory, technique and musicianship integrated into their performance work.
Students may choose to do AMEB piano and theory examinations.
Students are encouraged to perform for a live audience and concert opportunities are provided.
I continue to update my teaching skills including through professional development in piano pedagogy.
I work with students of various ages, from 5 years old to adult. I have achieved great success with young piano students and this is an ideal age to start learning and experiencing music. However it is never too late to start learning the piano!
