Music Teacher and Accompanist Harpsichord, Keyboard, Piano
I am currently working as a professional freelance piano accompanist - with strong sight-reading skills and musicianship skills, my accompaniment is of high-quality and is being sought after by many musicians in the Perth music scene. This includes festivals, exams, eisteddfods, auditions, masterclasses, concerts, recitals and other performances. In addition to this, I am available as a repetiteur for musical theatre productions, a collaborative pianist in chamber groups, or as a soloist for events/functions.
In February 2017, I made my concert debut with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra under Peter Moore, playing the Ravel Piano Concerto in G at Hale School in Perth. In February 2018, I made my solo debut in the Perth Concert Hall, performing Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with the Western Australian Charity Orchestra.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts Honours music performance degree at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in February 2019 with First Class Honours, specialising in piano performance with the assistance of the Tunley Scholarship, a prestigious scholarship awarded to the best auditioning musician each year. I have also studied/performed the clarinet and saxophone(s) to a high standard, and have plenty of experience in singing with choirs and vocal ensembles. I am also a keen performer, and have competed and won prizes in numerous eisteddfods, competitions and festivals in Perth. I have been awarded the Waveney Wansborough Prize, VOSE Memorial Prize and Flora Bunning Chamber Prize at UWA, completed my A.Mus.A (AMEB) Diploma for piano in 2012, and have participated in the National Youth Choir of Australia.
