Qualifications: LMusA (pianoforte), AMusA (pianoforte), AMEB Grade 8 Hons (Violin), AMEB Grade 6 (Theory of Music) I am currently studying at university, having completed extensive music training in piano, violin and music theory for the past 16 years. Having been taught by prominent teachers and performers, I hope to pass my knowledge and skills forward, so that others can also enjoy the gift of music. I have been a private tutor for the past 4 years. I have achieved an Associate (AMusA) and Licentiate (LMmusA) diploma in performance in pianoforte after completing all grades of the AMEB program. For my Higher School Certificate (HSC), I studied music and subsequently topped my school in Music 2, achieving a high band 6 mark. I also successfully auditioned for a place in the prestigious Bachelor of Music Studies/Doctor of Medicine degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Additionally, my experience performing in competitions and eistedfodds will be an asset in helping students meet the requirements of piano exams and performances. In violin, I have completed up to Level 12 of the Suzuki method and achieved an Honours in AMEB 8th Grade violin. In music theory, I have also completed Grade 6 Theory of Music, and can assist in HSC musicology or composition. I understand that each student is unique; individual lessons will be tailored to the level and style of each student. I hope to foster good practice technique as well as a passion for music, whether it be for leisure or exam purposes. I have a certificate in First Aid and CPR and a Working with Children check.
