Catherine is a classically trained pianist, experienced piano teacher and accompanist. She studied Classical Piano at the Elder Conservatorium of Music and in 2014 she graduated from The University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Music specialising in Performance and Pedagogy.
As well as a music degree, she holds the Associate Diploma in Music in Piano and a Diploma in Classical Music from The University of Adelaide. She is a member of The Music Teachers’ Association of South Australia (MTASA).
In addition to her teaching, Catherine is continuing further development in her piano studies through continued lessons and future recitals. She regularly attends professional development courses, conferences and workshops for private music teachers. She is also available as a piano accompanist.
Catherine teaches all ages from complete beginner to advancing skill level, specialises in classical repertoire, and is experienced in preparing students for AMEB exams and performances.
Lessons are tailored to suit the individual needs, abilities and musical interests of students. A balanced program of repertoire, music theory, technique, aural training, sight reading and exam and performance opportunities is available to guide each student towards their full musical potential.
