Clarinet, Flute Music Teacher
I know everyone can learn and play music. I started teaching in 2002, and have never come across a student who could not succeed to their own extent. I believe music can be something everyone enjoys and has as part of their lives. The love and skills of making music is something which grows in people and something that you can love for the whole of your life. Music is one of the ultimate left brain/ right brain activities. It stimulates both your creativity and your spatial abilities. It helps increase and improve literacy, and it provides an emotional outlet.
I try to have fun, interesting lessons, which let you progress at your own pace through the classes but also teach you the basics of theory and musicianship. I try to help develop your tone and reading skills. I have taught at various primary schools and privately. I am happy to teach Jazz, Classical and modern music and AMEB exams.
