Classically trained guitarist who plays a variety of Classical music, Blues and Rock, dabbles in Flamenco, Spanish guitar and Jazz.
I have studied music since the age of ten learning from various teachers across Australia and Asia. I have completed a Bachelor of Music from the Elder Conservatorium of Music at Adelaide University specialising in performance and composition learning from Oliver Fartach-Naini.
I currently have placements at 7 schools in and around Adelaide, teach privately from my home studio and do home visits as well. I have undertaken several master classes with established performers and composers including Vincent Lindsey-Clark, Richard Charlton, Shingo Fujii, Raffaele Agostino and others. I was a member of the Elder Conservatorium Guitar Ensemble for 5 years and have performed with this group and others interstate, overseas and at the Adelaide International Guitar Festival twice where my original compositions were performed.
I currently perform at various venues and events in and around the Adelaide and enjoy composing for classical guitar and various other instruments. I am registered with the Australian Performing Right Association (APRA) and have had my original compositions performed interstate and overseas.
In my spare time I enjoy playing rock, blues, metal, jazz, acoustic numbers and dabble in Flamenco guitar.
