Currently studying Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University, Jenny is an experienced piano teacher and accompanist from Melbourne.
Jenny attained her AMusA with Distinction and her LMusA at the ages of 10 and 12 respectively. Since then, she has competed at local/national eisteddfods and guest performed at concerts such as international pianist Alan Kogosowski’s BMW Edge concert.
A performer with nearly 15 years of experience, Jenny made her concerto debut performing Mendelssohn’s first piano concerto at her school as Music Captain with the Melbourne Girls Grammar Orchestra under Mark Shiell. She undertook VCE Music Performance in Pianoforte under the tutelage of Glenn Riddle in 2015 and completed her VCE studies in 2016.
Aside from performing, Jenny has an interest in teaching AMEB piano as well as tutoring VCE Music and other academic subjects. She has arranged music, both choral and instrumental/chamber, and has led multiple ensembles, music concerts and recitals. She is a passionate and patient teacher who believes any student is capable of excelling with the right mentorship.
In addition to her teaching services, Jenny is also an experienced accompanist. She has experience accompanying students and choirs at concerts and has played for larger events such as weddings and musicals.
With her perfect pitch and advanced sight-reading skills, Jenny is able to teach piano to students of all ages and levels (including VCE), as well as offer accompaniment services for concerts/auditions/exams of all instruments.
Jenny has a valid Working With Children’s Safety Check and would love to share her skills with others in the community.
