Jeremy Woolhouse Poise Alexander Technique
Poise Alexander Technique is Jeremy Woolhouse’s Alexander Technique Teaching studio, established in 2005. The practice offers private tuition for for a broad rage of ailments, specialising in working with musicians on performance optimisation, injury management and injury prevention. Other areas of expertise include RSI, back injury and neck pain.
Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne), Jeremy has accumulated performance experience as a soloist, accompanist and ensemble pianist. Since 1998, Alexander Technique has deeply informed his practice as a musician and music teacher.
In 2006 Jeremy completed the 4 year postgraduate teacher training at the School of FM Alexander Studies in Melbourne. His Alexander Technique teaching practice has a specialist interest in application of Alexander Technique to professional performance and he works with vocalists and insturmentalists of all varieties.
