About

From a young age, Jessica enjoyed learning the piano and flute. After receiving a music scholarship to study at Box Hill Institute in 2011, she then transferred to Monash University in 2012, where she was under the direction of low flute specialist, Peter Sheridan. Completing her Bachelor of Music in 2014, she then completed her Master of Teaching (secondary) from Australian Catholic University in 2017.

Jessica has performed world and Australian premieres on the bass flute and has been an adjudicator at the Victorian Flute Competition.
Jess has worked as a classroom music and instrumental flute teacher as well as a production producer within Melbourne based schools. She enjoys playing casually for church, weddings and musical theatre.

Jessica believes that anyone can learn any instrument, at any age and is always happy to help – whether that be for AMEB exams or just for fun. Each lesson is individually tailored and focuses on music, technique, theory and aural development.

Currently, Jess is only taking on adult learners.
