Jessica completed her Bachelor of Music at Monash University and has just completed her Master of Teaching (secondary) at Australian Catholic University.
Whilst she was at Monash University, Jessica was under the direction of low flutes specialist, Peter Sheridan. Jess received a scholarship to study at Box Hill Institute, before transferring to Monash in 2012. She has studied extensively with flautists such as Carolyn Ondaatje and Carolyn Grace.
She has performed world premieres on bass flute, adjudicated at the Victorian Flute Competition and performs with the Whitehorse Orchestra and Victorian Flute Ensemble on a casual basis.
Jess began the piano at a young age and picked up a flute soon after. She has been teaching privately since 2010 and specialises in beginner students for piano and flute. Jessica also teaches with ABC Music Group where she teaches piano and flute to a range of students. She also taught with Junior Rockers and at Mullauna College in 2014.
Jessica believes that anyone can learn any instrument, at any age and is always happy to help - whether that be for AMEB exams or just for fun. Each lesson is individually tailored and focuses on music, technique, theory and aural development.
