Jubila Singers Classical and World Music Choir

Voice Music Teacher

Jubila Singers 2014 resumes Tuesday evening 28 January 7 pm at the Green Point Community Centre and Thursday morning 30 January 10 am at the CWA Hall in Terrigal. Singers can come to either or both sessions. This lively choir sings a broad range of world and classical music. We focus on polyphonic songs which are sung in harmony, and every session we experiment with collective improvisation. Occasionally songs are accompanied by talented instrumentalists in the groups and others are sung a cappella. Most of the singers read music - some don't. Plans are underway for a group trip to the Tasmanian Festival of Voices in July and we will be rehearsing for another Spring Charity Concert of unusual and eclectic music in October. If you have ever thought about joining a choir this is a great place to start. You are encouraged to come along for a session or two, free. We are non-competitive and sing for sheer enjoyment.
