About

Just Play Music School offers specialist lessons for keyboard, piano, theory and aural training for all levels, ages and abilities. Established in 2005, we have over 15 years experience in delivering high quality lessons for individuals and small groups, with outstanding teachers who are passionate about making every lesson motivating, creative and enjoyable.

Just Play Music School is directed by Jenny Royle, BMus(Hons), Ass.Dip.Ed (Mus), Grad.Dip.Ed, who has developed programs for junior/K-4 pre-school music leading through to VCE levels and AMEB exam preparation. Jenny is an accomplished teacher, pianist and composer, who has over 20 years experience in teaching music to all ages, including adults. She has worked with musicians and teachers in a range of fields, including music ensembles, music research, song writing, bands and secondary school music programs.

Just Play Music School can provide lessons at your home (by arrangement) or from our studios in Upwey (Dandenong Ranges Music Council) and Ferny Creek. We can also offer online lessons. Lessons include one-to-one teaching, a free individual program assessment, exam preparation, composition activities, friendly ‘sharing’ concerts, and the opportunity to become part of a great music community.
