Lorraine Granger-Brown has 30 years piano playing experience and has recently returned to private piano tuition after formalising her musicianship qualifications by completing a Bachelor of Music degree with first class honours in piano and choral conducting in 2007. Lorraine teaches at schools in both Melbourne and Kyneton and is currently developing her private studio. Lorraine promotes technical excellence in her teaching and encourages student recitals and master classes on premises at her Ballarat studio. Lorraine has successfully prepared students for AMEB examinations, VCE solo performance examinations and entry auditions for piano performance at tertiary level. In addition to her teaching, Lorraine is currently studying for her Masters in Musicology (research) at the University of Melbourne. She is available for teaching at all levels and includes music theory as part of the student's musical education. She is also available for accompanying and for choral conducting.
