Hello musicians of all ages! My name is Michael Petruccelli and I am a freelance professional opera singer having recently worked with Opera Australia, Victorian Opera and New Zealand Opera. I am friendly, approachable, motivated and passionate about all things music. I am an advocate for music education, and I am also a firm believer that music can be an extremely powerful tool in strengthening communities and breaking down social barriers. I have been a private tutor for 6 years and I have a diverse range of teaching experiences from privately tutoring secondary school students (for VCE exam preparation) and university students to conducting lectures, leading singing masterclasses and conducting private singing lessons. the areas that I specialise in include: - Singing Lessons (Classical, Jazz, Music Theatre) - Music theory - Musicianship - Sight Singing and Aural (listening) Training - Public Speaking My availability is flexible and will cater to your needs. I aim to deliver engaging lessons, individually tailored to suit each person I work with. We will create a structured plan for your learning after I have assessed your level of proficiency in the particular area you wish to develop.
