About
I am an organised and enthusiastic nineteen year old female music student who is offering violin lessons to young musicians from complete beginners to those who have already been playing for a few years.
Music has been a huge part of my life since I began learning the violin at four years old. Since then I have achieved my Associate Music Diploma (AMusA) in the performance of violin, played and toured with Sydney Youth Orchestra’s Peter Seymour Orchestra and played violin on two international tours with the Sydney Children’s Choir. Just as I encourage my students to strive for personal improvement, I currently study a Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I first taught the violin in 2013 and immediately fell in love with music education. I have taught both young children and even adult beginners.
Music will teach your child the value of
- Perseverance
- Passion
- Consistent effort
This is particularly the case for an instrument as virtuosic and versatile as the violin!
After proper technique has been established, I strongly recommend that my students set and work towards their own goals; whether that be an exam, to join a youth orchestra or just a concert for the grandparents!
Lessons are $60/hour or $30/half hour at my house in Greenwich.
