'How lucky it is to have Jackie as my two daughters' piano teacher! Jackie's teaching is very inspiring and effective for young children. My elder daughter, Ivy, used to learn piano from two teachers. Savannah, my younger daughter, started learning piano with Jackie. Ivy insisted to have Jackie as her piano teacher after she observed Savannah's piano lesson only once. She had lost interest in piano and played without any passion before that. However, when she was watching Savannah's lesson, she was so fascinated that she stood up throughout the whole lesson without complaining tired. Her love for piano was suddenly inspired by that lesson and has been lasting till now. Jackie is able to adapt various strategies to assist children to learn some difficult skills more easily and faster. She plays games, acts out and tells stories to help children understand the music they are playing. For example, when she was teaching my daughters how to use pedals, she sat on the floor and pressed their foot with her hand in order to make them feel the pedal in the right way and learn the skill.' - April Chen
Jackie was my piano teacher from the early days of my music studies in Preliminary AMEB, right til AmusA. Her professionalism, passion in music and devotion towards her students makes her one of the best teachers in the industry. Her musical and technical knowledge, ability to connect on a deep level with her students, and her high calibre, fun, and motivational music lessons inspired me to pursue music more than I would have with any other teacher. She wears her heart on her sleeves and has opened me up to the world of music, which I will be forever grateful.' - Joey Lam
'I would like to thank Jackie immensely for her excellent teaching over the last four years as I was able to perform exceptionally in my AMEB grade exams and AmusA Diploma under her guidance. Both my brother and I thoroughly enjoy our lessons as they are fun, interesting and engaging. Jackie's passion in music and innovative approach in teaching to tailor to each student's unique abilities make her highly successful as a piano teacher.'

Receiving tuition for over 15 years, Jackie Sharp was not only a dedicated and inspirational teacher, but a dear friend. I have since achieved tertiary qualifications in music education and performance and still regularly look to Jackie for guidance and mentoring. Jackie's love and dedication provided a fun, healthy and instrumental environment which i have developed into my life career. I am lucky to not only have such a wonderfully talented mentor in my life but also one of the most kindest people i know.' - Rebecca Estephan
Jackie is currently preparing me for Associate Diploma in Music exam. I've tried lessons with a few other teachers before I found Sharp Music Academy and none of them was as passionate as Jackie is.
Jackie is very musical and thorough teacher, she really taught me how to listen to the music I play and create something beautiful.
As a working adult I find her to be very easy going and flexible when it comes to schedulinglessons. I highly recommend her for students of all levels!' - Barbara Borecka (Barbara has since achieved a Distinction for her AMus exam!)
