About
I'm a driven musician and educator striving to better my music and do the same for my students. My main goal when I teach is to show students how to use the information and skills I've given them in musical ways so that they can interact with and enrich music when they play either on their own or with others. I also feel it is important for students to engage with their learning and take agency of any information their presented, I aim to gradually polish this ability in my students.
I have enthusiastically participated with other musicians in Melbourne and Canberra to produce live performances or recordings. In doing so I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise in a wide range of genres including Jazz, Rock, Indie, Hip hop and Pop. In addition to this I hold a Bachelor of Music from the Victorian College of the Arts.
