Stephen Spencer is an experienced musician playing bass guitar and upright bass with over 10 years’ experience. He has completed an Arts Degree (2011) and a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education (2012). He has performed with professional orchestras, including the Melbourne Philharmonic, and performed as part of a combined professional orchestra accompanying the most recent production of Tchaikovsky’s ‘Swan Lake’ with the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet at Hamer Hall in December 2013 and a European tour with the Chamber Strings of Melbourne and the Melbourne University Choral Society, January 2014. He performs regularly for musical production companies across Melbourne, including an award winning production of Jason Robert Brown’s ‘Parade’ (2012).
He has extensive experience as a bass guitar player, playing in a punk band with regular gigs around Melbourne between 2003-2007. He believes that music provides food for the soul. He provides an encouraging, stimulating environment.
