Tania Owens graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and is a Classical and Irish Flute player a well as being proficient in clarinet saxophone brass instruments and piano and theory. She has studied composition and particularly enjoys writing for small chamber ensembles, duos and concert band. She has been a Instrumental Music teacher in Queensland schools for many years teaching wind, brass and percussion instruments, and has taught privately since she was twenty. Her students regularly achieve high marks in AMEB and Trinity College exams and participate regularly in The Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfod. She teaches from home in Maleny on the Sunshine Coast.
