Victoria Parsons first became interested in playing instruments at the age of 10, when Cooma Public School took the initiative to establish their first school band. Through chance she was given a flute to try and instantly fell in love with its sound. With the support of school bands, community bands, choirs, church music groups, the enthusiastic teachers at the Cooma School of Music and the wonderful opportunities this small musical community offers, Victoria has been encouraged to learn, grow and establish a true passion for music.
She currently tutors flute, voice and choir/ensembles at Clavier Music & Arts in Hurstville and through Ink Music at North Cross Christian School in North Ryde. Victoria completed her Bachelor of Music: Classical Performance at the Australian Institute of Music with Dr. Danielle Eden, and has now commenced a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Anthropology and Music Studies at the University of Sydney.
