I started playing piano when I was 3, and graduated in Bachelor of Arts (major in music) and Master of music therapy at University of Queensland. I obtained grade 8 in ABRSM and ATCL (Diploma level) in Trinity Music School.
Since my high school I taught kids from age of 3 to adults, and I am confident in teaching different classical techniques in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Also I am experienced in teaching playgroup.
For advanced student my studio can offer a concert grand piano during tuition.
CHINESE FLUTE (DIZI) TUITION
Styles: Traditional Chinese music
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Suitability: Ages 6 years and up
Pricing: $70-80/ hr (beginner level)
I obtained Grade 8 level training on Dizi (Chinese Flute) and trained in Kowloon Youth Chinese Orchestra since the age of 10. I also won the first prize of solo Dizi and third-prize of Xiao (Chinese woodwind instrument) at Hong Kong school music festival.
Since my high school I taught kids from age of 3 to adults, and I am confident in teaching different classical techniques in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Don’t worry about purchasing Dizi, as I can help student to purchase dizi suitable for beginners in Hong Kong. Chinese flutes (made of bamboo) usually costs $ 50-70 (HKD $350-550). Free shipping.
AURAL SKILLS TRAINING

Aural training is essential for learning music and crucial for students who is planning to take any instrumental examination. Individual training is offered to student in order to suits one’s learning needs.

THEORY TRAINING

I am experienced in teach music theory for all ages, and especially confident in training students for theory exams by ABRSM.
CHOIR AND EXAM ACCOMPANIMENT
Styles: classical and jazz

Pricing: $ 70/hr and $140 on day of performance
Since 2000 I am a church accompanist and choir conductor at primary schools during my undergraduate. I am also available as a exam accompanist.
