About

Caroline is a clarinettist and teacher recently returned to Brisbane after living in Stockholm, Sweden, where she was mentored by Co-Principal clarinet of the Stockholm Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Johan Fransén. Caroline is currently undertaking a Masters of Teaching at the University of Queensland, after completing her undergraduate degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University studying a Bachelor of Music in clarinet with Associate Professor Paul Dean.

Having grown up playing clarinet and oboe, Caroline loved playing with other like-minded people which led her to take her playing to a higher level, joining the Queensland Youth Orchestras Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony and the Conservatorium Wind and Symphony Orchestras. Caroline eagerly teaches enthusiastic students from her expanding private studio in Chapel Hill and often tutors at school band workshops.

Caroline can also be found training and competing in running and orienteering with the Australian national team.
