About

I have been teaching cello for almost 3 years, with experience teaching at Volaris Music Centre and Melbourne Girls’ College. I especially enjoy teaching adults and Highschool students.

I have been playing cello for 12 years, and I recently graduated from a Bachelor of Music (Cello Performance) at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium. I have also guided students to succeed in AMEB exams as I did myself, completing my LMusA in 2021.

I enjoy helping my students improve their playing, especially watching them discover and realise their own skills, whilst developing their appreciation for music. I prioritise tailoring my lessons to each student’s unique learning journey, accounting for the necessities of technique while keeping it fun and engaging. I also strive to teach general musical skills such as theory, listening and improvisation.

Please reach out if you are interested in cello lessons, I am happy to have a chat, or schedule a once-off, no commitment trial lesson.
