About

Violin/Theory lessons available for 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons. From five years of private teaching experience, I have seen the success of my students’ musical development and enhancement in technical abilities. I enjoy interacting with students and always go to great length to provide a positive, encouraging, enjoyable and supportive environment. I always tailor my teaching to suit each students learning style by utilising visual aids and explaining musical concepts in a very simple and clear manner. I establish strong technical skills and practice routines with students and prepare them for orchestral auditions, competitions, recitals and concerts.

I am a very professional and passionate person when it comes to work, and I am very patient and committed when it comes to teaching students. I always have a positive attitude when I interact with students and try to encourage them. I can also work to tight deadlines and have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills in English and Korean.

AMEB exams have been a long-term experience throughout my musical journey, and I am confident in helping the students to feel prepared for their technical exams, pieces, general knowledge, aural test, and Grade 1-3 theory.

I have completed my BMus in Perf (Distinction) with Michele Walsh at the QCGU and have my LMusA, AMusA qualifications. I’ve received Masterclasses from renowned professors such as Jack Liebeck (Royal Academy of Music), Dale Barltop (1st Violin ASQ), Harry Bennetts (Associate Concertmaster of SSO), and Gregory Lee (Professor at University of Oklahoma.
