Claire Fischer

Hi, my name is Claire and I am a certified Suzuki teacher teaching all ages from 3-93. I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I have an arts degree plus a Graduate Diploma in Performance, I have my Suzuki Primary Teaching Accreditation and am currently working towards my Intermediate accreditation. I love teaching the violin and viola. While I use the Suzuki repertoire and philosophy to create a foundation in technique, posture and outlook, I also focus on sight reading, tone production, musical expression and making sure that the student feels agency in their learning – a holistic approach. I particularly love working with very young children and adults but all ages are welcome. Come along and observe a lesson and see if you think we will make a good fit.
