About

Hi, I’m Jun, a proud graduate of the Class of 2023.
I attended The McDonald College Performing Arts School (Years 8–10) and Newington College (Years 11–12), both on music scholarships. In Year 12, I was honoured to be the lead clarinetist for both the Symphonic Winds Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. I also performed with the Big Band and Choir throughout Years 11 and 12.

I earned my Associate in Music Diploma (AMusA) for clarinet in Year 10 and have competed in state and national solo competitions. I ranked 1st in NSW for both HSC Music 2 and Music Extension (achieving Band 6 in both) and was nominated for inclusion in Encore.

My clarinet experience spans a wide range of styles — from Classical, Romantic, and 21st-century repertoire to Modern and Jazz. I’ve played in orchestras, wind ensembles, jazz bands, and even rock bands.

I offer clarinet and piano lessons tailored for anyone looking to learn for fun, play their favourite songs, or prepare for AMEB exams.

Fun Fact: I’ve performed and recorded with The Wiggles!
