Emma has almost two decades of experience running a studio, band programs and invoking the love of music into young people (some as young as 8 weeks old!) in both contemporary and classical styles. With a Bachelor of Music from University of New England/Berklee College of Music, Emma teaches clarinet, saxophone, voice and (beginner) piano both individually and in groups.
Emma’s breadth of experience includes music production, adult, teen, child and baby music classes, primary and high school concert bands, musicals, exam and scholarship preparation, masterclasses, camp and event organisation, group lessons, and performing in both classical and contemporary spaces.
Emma believes that to undertake learning is to undertake transformation. Musical learning, whilst sometimes difficult, is often exciting and joyful. Emma seeks to make her lessons enjoyable for students in open consultation with students and their parents.
