Hi
I am a retired professional classical musician -Bachelor of Music (Otago) -with a double major in Piano Performance and Classical Singing (Tenor) .

I have performed with the Lyric Opera of Queensland and continued studying Singing at the Brisbane Conservatorium with Donald Smith (Australia’s Greatest Tenor ?!) and Grace Bumbry’s ex Husband – Andreas Jaeckel – (a fine Tenor himself and a great ear for the correct sound ).

I studied Piano with Terrence Dennis ( renowned accompanist in NZ and Europe ) .

I have performed in Opera and Concerts in Australia and New Zealand and have written and performed in Musical Theatre.
I have a particular interest in Singing Technique . Musical talent is often not enough – you need the correct technical instruction in the basics ( which muscles to use and which not to use) and a teacher with an ear for the right sound to guide your voice in the right direction.

Can work to AMEB if desired or simply take lessons for your own personal pleasure.
