About

Music has always been a central part of my life. Growing up with a grandfather who was a concert pianist, I was surrounded by music from an early age and began learning piano at eight years old. Throughout high school I expanded my musical experience, playing clarinet in multiple school bands and receiving a scholarship for three consecutive years (2009, 2010, 2011) to attend the Victorian College of the Arts Summer School program. This opportunity allowed me to perform with symphonic orchestras in some of Melbourne’s most iconic performance venues.

I have taught private piano lessons since 2012, working both from my home studio and in professional teaching studios. Over this time, I have developed a warm, student-centred approach that adapts to each learner’s goals, interests, and pace. My teaching experience spans young beginners through to advanced students, including those preparing for exams, auditions, and performance opportunities.

I also have an extensive background in community theatre, performing in numerous production bands, and since 2015 I have worked in schools as an instrumental music teacher. My work has included teaching piano, supporting school productions, and collaborating with vocalists and student bands. I have additionally performed with several of Melbourne’s professional musical theatre productions.

I completed a Bachelor of Music at the Australian Institute of Music in 2016, followed by a Master of Teaching at ACU. With experience across performance, education, and ensemble work, I am passionate about teaching music to students of all ages and abilities. My lessons are tailored to each learner, balancing enjoyment with structure, technique, and routine. I also support students through AMEB exams where desired.

My goal is to foster a lifelong love of music and help every student feel confident, capable, and inspired at the piano.

I teach from both a studio in Woodend, and travel within the Macedon Ranges to students houses.
