About

As a bassist, I have worked with Guy Fletcher (Dire Straits), Mercury Prize-winning producer Charlie Andrews (Alt-J), and AMP-nominated songwriter Thomas Savage. I was a founding member of signed electronic band Kanzi, and have shared the stage with artists including Little Comets, The Vaccines, 22-20s, King Charles, East India Youth and NZCA Lines.

I completed my BA Hons in Professional Musicianship with a 1st at BIMM studying bass. I was later brought back as staff, where I taught bass for their BIMM Academy project (focusing on students between the ages of 7-16), and as a music teaching practice tutor on their masters level teacher training course. I have years of experience privately teaching music, where I taught guitar, bass and double bass to students of all ages. Since moving to Australia, I have worked for ABC Music Group and Voodoo Child Music, where I have provided both group and one-on-one lessons in piano, guitar, bass and ukulele across multiple studios and schools in Victoria. I have always prided myself on my ability to tailor my sessions to the needs of the student, as well as focusing on making lessons challenging, engaging and fun.
