About

Hello, my name is Davis. I focus on violin pedagogy and I centre strongly on foundation of techniques. I started the violin when I was 5 and was trained under the Suzuki method. I am currently in the first violins of the Preston symphony orchestra. I teach students of all levels. If you’re under the age of 18, I highly suggest you have your parent in the lesson as support from parents are crucial for your musical growth.
In our lesson we will focus on bow arm techniques for example; detaché, spiccato, legato. left hand techniques; vibrato, shifting positions, intonation. Musicality is so important and to be able to sing the music through your instrument is what matters the most
