GRAEME BROWN – While at ANU completing a mathematics and human sciences degree, was awarded an Arts Council grant to attended master classes in both classical and jazz guitar with guitarists George Golla and Don Andrews at the Academy of the Guitar in Sydney and to study Composition in Canberra with composer Don Banks.
Professional guitar career has involved working and touring with many international artists such as Michael Crawford, Bernadette Peters, Michael Palin (Monty Python), Debbie Reynolds, Michael Parkinson, Sarah Brightman and performing in major theatre shows such as The Lion King, Wicked, Mary Poppins, Chicago, A Chorus Line and West Side Story. Most recent performances have been with Symphony Australia Orchestras (SSO, MSO & TSO) on the Pixar Movie Concerts, the Symphony of Heroes and the Metropolitan Orchestra in the BBC produced concerts at the Sydney Opera House of ‘Blue Planets” and ‘Dr. Who”.
