Who is Julia?

I’m Julia, a professional violist with over 15 years of experience enchanting audiences in the vibrant Canberra region. In 2010, I graduated from the prestigious ANU School of Music, and since then, I’ve been actively involved in the music scene both locally and interstate, playing with esteemed ensembles like the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.
Beyond my musical pursuits, I am a proud mother of three lively children, and their curiosity and energy constantly inspire me to foster a nurturing and encouraging environment for all my students.
At Julia’s Music Studio, I wholeheartedly believe in the power of music education, especially in the early stages of learning the violin or viola. My focus lies in building solid foundations of technique and instilling confidence through instruction, reading and understanding music notation, and playing in ensembles.
