About

I began studying classical piano and voice at an early age. I later moved on to study contemporary, musical theatre and rock singing. Actively seeking training from multiple teachers I sought to develop my voice to encompass a broad range of styles while broadening my understanding of the way the voice works. I have over 20 years of performance experience in corporate/cover acts and original bands, I have performed around Australia the USA and China and have written and recorded 2 Albums original and 3 EP’s and 2 original cabaret shows. I have my grade 6 AMEB classical piano and grade 6 Trinity college classical voice qualification.

While I still perform and write, teaching has become my passion.
Driven by my love for music and the immense wholistic benefits awarded those who participate in it, my teaching style focuses on developing confidence, autonomy, discipline, technique and creative expression. While finding fun ways to instil an understanding of music fundamentals, beat, rhythm, pitch, expression, theory and music reading.
I find it is utterly fulfilling to see my students grow and develop.

Having compleated my grade 6 AMEB classical piano and grade 6 Trinity college classical voice qualification, I am able to take piano students to grade 4 AMEB, classical voice students to grade 2 AMEB and contemporary or rock school voice to grade 5 AMEB.

Having built my practice to teach voice and piano across 4 locations in Melbourne, including pre-primary music classes and working as a tutor for the Australian girl’s choir, due to the global crisis, I have moved my teaching practice online.
I’m now finding myself taking students from all over Australia and even some internationally.
