Kieron is currently an undergraduate student at the Melbourne Conservatorium, studying under Fintan Murphy. During his studies, he has performed with the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Conservatorium String Ensemble and has participated in intensives with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and members of the Mimir Chamber Festival Faculty.
Outside of the Conservatorium, Kieron has played with the Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Melbourne String Ensemble and has attended the Australian Youth Orchestra’s National Music camp and the Melbourne Youth Orchestra’s Summer School. He also holds a Licentiate Diploma (LmusA) in Violin.
In his teaching, Kieron aims to establish a strong technical foundation and keen musical understanding within his students, thus allowing them to perform great music with ease and enjoyment. He also includes the study of music theory, aural skills and musicianship as part of his curriculum in order to provide a holistic musical education.
