About

Lauren Foster obtains a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours from The University of Queensland where she studied Advanced Viola Performance with Patricia Pollett. Lauren has been playing both the Violin and Viola for 15 years and in this time has gained vast amounts of experience in teaching along side developing her own solo, chamber and orchestral playing.

Lauren is an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher who inspires her students to work their hardest. She is extremely passionate about passing on the love and knowledge of music to students of all ages. Having learnt with some of the best musicians and educators in the country, she feels it is so important that the correct knowledge of technique and musicianship be maintained and passed on to the next generation.

Lauren has guided many students through the AMEB syllabus and exams where they have received great results and learnt so much along the way. She has also helped develop the skill sets of many beginners of all ages.

Lauren teaches Violin and Viola to all levels and ages and would love to hear from you!
