Biography

Performance Bio:
Louise completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Music in 2015 with a major in Performance (classical voice) minor in Performance (Cello). She has been the recipient of several awards and scholarships including the Wesley Choral Scholarship in 2013 and St Patrick’s Cathedral Cantor Scholarship in 2016. She has since been a regular Cantor at St Patrick’s Cathedral as well as soprano soloist for Saint Nicolas Russian Catholic Church since 2016.

In addition to her work as a vocalist, Louise was promoted to Musical Director for the St Stephen’s Anglican Church Brighton in 2019 and is also the current Choir Master for the St Stephens Community Choir. In 2020, Louise completed her Master of Teaching in. She currently teaches voice at Mentone Grammar School as well as privately from her studio in Brighton.

Areas of specialisation include:
Voice Lessons (Classical, Jazz, Music Theatre, VCE Music Performance, AMEB examinations) teaching beginner to advanced vocal students, both male and female.
Cello lessons, teaching beginner to intermediate cello students, up to Grade 3 AMEB level.
Public Speaking
Vocal health and maintenance for teachers.
