As a Perth-based trumpet player, I am currently completing my undergraduate performance degree at the University of Western Australia Conservatorium of Music. My tutelage includes Peter Miller, Fletcher Cox and Paul de Cinque, who have helped me to become a passionate trumpet player and musician with growing experience in chamber, solo and orchestral settings.
I provide teaching in the areas of:
– Technical facility – playing of the instrument, from beginners to experienced players
– Music theory – instruction available at any level
– Musicality – basic knowledge of interpretation
– Repertoire, excerpts and studies (depending on level)
I can assist in preparation for/completion of AMEB exams (grade 1-8) or school curriculum playing (Music ATAR, etc.).
I can also provide group lessons (prices negotiable) if better suited to students.
I am able to teach at my own home in Byford (parking available). Alternatively and for extra cost (upon negotiation), I can also teach at the student’s home, school or at the University of Western Australia.
I can also provide lessons that only cover music theory, to support students in their curriculum (e.g. Music ATAR, AMEB, etc.). Contact me for more details.
I am passionate about music education and sharing music with others, and I am experienced in teaching school-aged children. If you have any questions, please get in touch with me!
