About

I am an enthusiastic and personable teacher with 10+ years experience. I am passionate about helping you excel in your learning with a targeted and well-rounded methodology. All ages and abilities are welcome, whether you are a school-aged learner or a beginner music lover.

Outside my private studio, I teach at Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Melbourne Youth Orchestras, and give visiting masterclasses. Previous teaching includes cello and chamber music at Sydney Conservatorium of Music High School, St Kevin’s Toorak, Fitzroy High School, Albury Border Music Camp, and regionally for Victorian Opera, Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Shepparton Festival.

I am cellist of Affinity Quartet, a professional string quartet based in Melbourne, and a freelance cellist with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Australian World Orchestra, Victorian Opera, Sydney Chamber Opera, and others.

I completed the Fellowship and Professional Performance Program at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in 2015, and was a Finalist in the ABC Young Performers Award the same year. I hold a Master of Music Performance jointly from Sydney Conservatorium of Music and The Royal Academy of Music, London. I have studied with Susan Blake, Howard Penny, Mats Lidström, Timothy Walden, and chamber music with members of the Belcea, Hagen, Artemis, Doric, and Juilliard String Quartets.
