Michel Vogel - Flute Tuition

With over two decades of experience as a flautist, I bring both deep musical training and genuine passion for nurturing young talent.
I began my musical journey at age 8, studying through school with Marie Fox at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music. I went on to complete a Bachelor of Music at the University of Newcastle under the guidance of acclaimed flautist Sally Walker, and had the rare privilege of participating in a masterclass with the principal flautist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
Alongside my studies, I gained hands-on teaching experience working with students at Jewells, Belmont, and Adamstown Primary Schools, as well as through private tutoring – developing the patience, communication skills, and adaptability that great teaching demands.
I am now returning to my first love and opening my books across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Whether your child is picking up the flute for the first time, looking to develop their technique further, or you’re looking to start as an adult, I offer a warm, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
