Monash has attained a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Classical Flute) from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Queensland. He has performed in the Greater Brisbane Region in orchestral performances, musicals and various chamber ensembles as well as working as an instrumental teacher.
He has also taught in the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast region and continues to perform in local musicals and orchestral concerts. With an interest in new music and improvisation Monash has experience in performing a wide range of styles both in solo and ensemble settings. Teaching music has been a passion of his for many years.
