I am a dedicated Western Music Teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience, specializing in piano, recorder, voice training, and music theory. I have served in leading government schools and international schools in Sri Lanka, gaining extensive experience in both classroom teaching and individual student development.
Alongside my school teaching career, I conduct private music tutoring for students of all ages, preparing them for international and local music examinations, including Trinity College London (Guildhall) and Sri Lankan music examinations.
Under my guidance, many students have achieved outstanding results, including Top Scorer awards in Piano at Trinity examinations as well as local music examinations. My teaching approach emphasizes strong technical foundations, musical expression, and confidence-building, helping students excel in exams while developing a lifelong passion for music.
