Peter Malberg is an experienced teacher and performing musician. He has over 25 years experience teaching in primary and secondary schools and in the private studio setting. He is currently teaching at Wesley – St Kilda Road and Sacred Heart Colleges. In the past, he has taught at Scotch, Haileybury, Kilbreda, John Paul, Ivanhoe Grammar and Caulfield Primary. He has taught VCE music performance for many years and some of his students have been successful in winning James Morrison Awards and Scholarships. He also teaches I B and AMEB. Peter performs regularly in a variety of styles. His music industry experience covers theatre, television (Neighbours and Secret Lives of Us) and backing such artists as Jimmy Barnes, Ricky May, Shirley Bassey, Engelbert Humperdink, Herbie Mann, Jerry Lewis, Elvis to the Max , Tina Arena, Max Merrit Benefit and Patrizio Buanne.
