About

Hi there! My name is Adrian and I have been teaching piano for over 10 years. I am passionate about helping students of all ages and skill levels develop their piano skills and become confident performers. I am a grade 10 pianist and am experienced in teaching students from beginner level up to advanced.

My teaching philosophy focuses on the importance of hard work and daily practice, but also the value of enjoying the music and finding inspiration in daily listening. I believe that discipline and consistency are key to success in piano, and I aim to instill these values in my students.

As a former music store owner and teacher of up to 70 students a week, I am experienced in managing a large and diverse group of students, and creating long-lasting relationships with both students and parents. I have a keen understanding of the challenges that modern devices can pose to learning, and I am adept at helping students overcome these obstacles.

I am familiar with the AMEB syllabus of Comprehensive Piano, but also believe in teaching songs that students enjoy and relate to. While I focus primarily on teaching classical music, I also incorporate modern music into my lessons.

I take immense satisfaction in seeing my students develop their skills and achieve their goals, and I am excited to share my passion for piano with new students on amtr.
