About Portia:
Portia is a contemporary vocalist and a singing teacher. She has sung in choirs, singing competitions and has performed at various events, including weddings and private functions.
Portia’s training began in classical voice (AMEB) and has since progressed to contemporary styles of singing. She is a member and student-teacher at the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) where she receives training and mentoring from master vocal coaches. In addition to voice, Portia also holds a Diploma in Piano Performance (ATCL).
Portia is passionate about helping singers express themselves authentically and confidently through their voice. She is a patient, attentive teacher that makes all her students feel at ease with her enthusiasm for teaching. Portia loves dedicating her time to developing her skills and qualifications so she can help her students find joy and freedom in their singing!
